This company is pretty average. In the past it was a nice place to work, but Captains have been on a pay freeze for 3+ years and it was recently raised. The schedules in the past year have been in decline, with repetitive issues with hotels, food, and maintenance. If you are looking for a stepping stone to gain heavy international time time, its a good spot for a few years, but not a career place.

This company is a stable job and a good place to build a career.
Most of the flying is throughout South America and done for LAN Cargo. You must live in the MIA area to work for Florida West. You get a relative decent schedule if you live close to the airport. You do not bid for trips, but days off. The pay is average for FO and a little better for Captains.
The equiptment is fairly well maintained. Overall, Florida West is a decent place for someone who is willing to work hard and gain heavy jet international experience or wants to be home a lot in Florida.
