Simulator Evaluation

• Scenario 1
  • HYA
  • Depart runway 24
  • Climb to 2000', perform standard rate turns left and right, descend to 1500'
  • Fly steep turns
  • Proceed to HY NDB and enter published hold
  • At some point the examiner will ask you what your position is relative to the NDB
  • Get radar vectors for ILS 24 HYA
  • break out and land

Comments

The company is kind of wishy-washy right now.  They are scaling back in some locations (Albany, NY because they are pulling out of Watertown), and ramping up elsewhere.  They expect you to physically relocate to your new domicile.  I don\'t recommend this with the payrate they provide for their C-402 pilots.  The benefits are ok, but the pay needs to be increased.  Also, once you get your domicile, after completing training, you could be subject to being moved again because someone more senior to you can kick you out of your hub if they want your spot!! Interview was held at the Logan Airport Hilton.  There is no more Simulator Evaluation. (3/23/2011)
